Documents Management and Administration Assistant
The UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC) are currently recruiting a Documents Management and Administration Assistant to join the company. UKBIC are a leading Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing Technical Centre located in the West Midlands. They aim to develop the next generation of battery systems across electrode, cell, module and pack levels to allow companies to move to full scale, high volume battery manufacturing.

Salary: £ 23,000 - £ 26,000 p.a. + Benefits. FIXED TERM CONTRACT 12 MONTHS

As the Documents Management and Administration Assistant, you will;
Support a range of functions to assist the business operations in their client facing projects.
Key responsibilities include logging and tracking of projects using the appropriate software, preparation of sales and commercial documentation including quotations.
Working with the engineering team to produce detailed proposals and supporting with general tasks such as bookkeeping and routine cleansing of the database.
Occasional support will be required onsite at customers with the primary elements of the role being office-based.
The Documents Management and Administration Assistant will be;
The Documents Management and Administration Assistant will have proven administration experience, ideally within a technical or manufacturing business and be conversant with producing quotations and proposals in addition to general bookkeeping and financial tracking.
Having an engineering background is not essential for the role however would be preferable.
Prior experience within the project/back office functions of an engineering/manufacturing business is essential to understand the project format and timeframe expectations.
Ideally will have project support experience
Excellent MS Office ability, with MS Project an advantage
