Job Description

A world leading company in defence solutions, with a commitment to world class manufacturing, require two Senior Buyers due to increased and sustained business growth. These will be 6 month fixed term contracts with the possibility that they will be extended. If you have Buyer experience within construction or have MRP experience, I would like to hear from you.

Commutable from: Warminster, Southampton, Salisbury, Andover, Bournemouth

Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 50,000 p.a. + Flexitime + Flexi benefits + Share save options

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business in a period of sustained growth as a Senior Buyer. The role will have responsibility for maintaining and developing the supply chain capability in both procurement of materials and services.

The Person

The ideal applicant will have at least 2 years experience within a buying or purchasing role, the ability to read information from engineering drawings and have a good understanding of computer inventory systems.
Applicants from the construction sector or a good understanding of MRP systems would be of interest.
