Business Development Manager
A global leader in electrical automation technology with a turnover well into the billions is recruiting a Business Development Consultant to develop and maintain sales across the company`s whole product range. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Electronic and/or Pneumatic Automation alongside of sales experience.

Salary: Up to £ 45,000 p.a. + Car + Bonus (13k) + Benefits

The Business Development Consultants role is to achieve all monthly and annual targets and objectives according to the approved business plan, personal and team balanced score cards (BSC).
To produce regular and accurate sales projections in the required format and formulate annual business plans with sound knowledge of the business situation within allocated customer and prospect accounts and within specialisation area.
To achieve the target level of sales activities in accordance with business development goals for all designated accounts and prospects within allocated area.
To complete all associated administration tasks within required timescales.
To develop and effectively apply the necessary skills to achieve targets and objectives according to the business plan, personal and team balanced score cards.
To acquire the knowledge that is necessary to develop business according to plan and share any knowledge that would enable Festo to achieve competitive advantages in the market.
To fulfil the role of Business Development Consultant for the team in general terms, as well as within the specialisation area, in accordance with the Festo GB sales, marketing and service strategy.
To adopt the Sales Competency model as a personal development focus continually increasing skills, knowledge and attitudes.
Ideally the Business Development Consultant will hold a HNC or minimum of ONC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Solid field sales experience selling technical engineering solutions.
Ability to demonstrate success in a previous sales position.
