Job Description

A long-established family business with a hugely varied client base are looking to recruit a Buyer.
This role would suit someone who is driven, self-motivated and has experience within purchasing and dealing with supply chain.

Commutable From: Stokenchurch, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Oxford, Thame

Salary: Competitive rates

Suitable For: Buyer, Scheduler, Supply Chain Coordinator, Supply Chain Assistant, Purchasing Analyst, Purchasing Assistant, Assistant Buyer, Junior Buyer.

The Role

The primary responsibility of the Buyer is to support the Supply Chain Team Leader to provide customers with on time delivery and product quality. You will be responsible for the processing of Purchase Orders, managing lead times and liaising with warehouse to ensure a smooth flow of products and materials.

The Person

The successful applicant will ideally be from a fast-paced environment and have Buying, supply chain, purchasing or sales experience. Experience in working with international suppliers and international couriers will be advantageous.
Ideally have experience on the WINMAN IT system, however a good level of knowledge with IT, especially Excel is essential.
