A world renowned Company for precision measurement products are looking for an Export Regional Sales Manager to join the export sales team. Reporting into the Export Sales Manager you will cover Europe with up to thirty percent of international travel. The Export Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the sale of products manufactured within the group. You will have a strong engineering background with experience of selling machinery, with an understanding of metrology.


Commutable from: Bracknell, Wokingham, Farnborough, Aldershot, Camberley, Farnham, Guildford, Surrey

Salary: Negotiable + Bonus, Pension & 33 Days holiday including bank holidays.

The Role

Reporting into the Export Sales Manager you will be responsible for covering Europe. The Export Regional Sales Manager will develop existing customer accounts as well as develop new business in line with the company overall sales strategy.
You will implement the Business Sales strategy, ensuring sales activities are consistent with the aims and requirements of the Business. This role will identify and pursue new sales opportunities, working alongside product specialists to develop technical customer quotations.
Maintain and increase the volume of business with existing and prospective customers through regular visits and cold calls.
You will be expected to travel 30% of the time.
Manage own appointments with Buyers/Engineers of existing and prospective customers.
Assist with set up and attend both local and national trade exhibitions.
Maintain consistent updates on the market sectors and competitors activity.


The Person

Degree qualified with a strong understanding of engineering. Experience selling a range of machinery, with basic knowledge of metrology processes.
A strong sales background, with the ability to prospect, grow and develop areas and manage current accounts. Experienced with reading engineering drawings, with a strong technical background to understand customer needs and requirements. With experience of international selling.
Fluent in both English and German languages, written and verbally.
Confident with using Microsoft Office.
