Job Description

The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story - created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Quality, CI & EHS Engineer. The purpose of the role is to drive continuous improvement across all levels of the MTC business whilst supporting compliance with ISO9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001.

The Role

As the Quality, CI & EHS Engineer you will work as an integrated parts of the QCIEHS team to lead improvement activities at all levels of the organisation
You will maintain and continuously improve The MTC`s existing management system
You will lead management system change in a highly flexible, R&D environment
You will provide direct advice and support across all levels of the MTC to ensure activities are conducted in a safe, efficient and environmentally managed fashion
You will conduct internal investigations as a result of an issue or breach of management system requirements
You will conduct a percentage of internal audits and inspections in accordance with ISO9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001 standards, statutory and legal requirements

The Person

As the ideal candidate for the Quality, CI & EHS Engineer you will have experience of driving Continuous Improvement and Quality Management Systems in a high complexity manufacturing environment with experience of working as an intrinsic part of a ISO9001 Quality Management System as well as being used to excellent written and oral communication skills.
