Job Description

A large manufacturing business is seeking a Welder to join there team to assist producing high quality parts. You`ll be a confident welder with experience of MIG & TIG welding with a background working with stainless and carbon steel. This role is a Monday to Friday days based role.

Commutable from: Huddersfield, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Worksop, South Yorkshire

Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 plus Overtime, 28 Days holidays including bank holidays & Pension

Suitable for: Welder, MIG Welder, TIG Welder, Welding Technician, Production Welder, Mechanical Fitter

The Role

Reporting into the Workshop Supervisor you`ll be responsible for fabricating and welding stainless and carbon steel stands and skids to customer demands.
Reading engineering drawings and replicate welds to the drawings. Support mechanical fitters on building parts.
Support the CNC department when need to produce any parts.
Making sure all products are produce to a high standards and to tight deadlines.

The Person

Experienced MIG/TIG Welder with grinding experience. A background working within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment.
A understanding of health & safety practices and welding preparation.
Excellent communication skills.
