Job Description

A growing food manufacturing company are looking for a Production Line Leaders working on a rotating three shift pattern. Reporting into the Production Shift Manager, You will be experienced working within the food production industry with excellent problem solving experience and continuous improvement exposure.

Commutable from: Worcester, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Evesham, Redditch, Worcestershire, Warwickshire

Salary: £ 21,000 to £ 24,000 p.a. plus Pension, holidays

Suitable for: Production Supervisor, Production Team Leader, Senior Production Team Leader, Senior Production Operative, Production Line Leader

The Role

As a Production Line Leader you`ll report into the Production Shift Manager . You will be responsible for the operating standards and maintaining an immaculate area.
Taking ownership of the highest standards and safety is practices at all times.
Identifying any continuous improvement practices which can improve production or reduce cost.
Ensure effective communication throughout the team to ensure all raw materials meet food hygiene standards. Maintaining in regular commutation with fellow department to ensure effective communication throughput the company.
Assisting and supporting any Operators that are working in your area.

The Person

Experienced working within food manufacturing environment as a Production Line Leader or Senior Production Operative. Strong knowledge of HACCP and Food hygiene.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams along with time management skills.
Understanding and experienced of continuous improvement or lean manufacturing practices.
