Job Description

This rapidly growing manufacturer of plastics construction products are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor, to ensure the effective running of their stores. You will have experience of implementing a new stock control system.

Commutable from: Wolverhampton, Telford, Cannock, Shrewsbury

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.

The Role

Implement efficient warehouse processes should function with extensive experience in goods intake and despatch.
Implement bar code checking in/out system.
Manage and organise the stores and inventory department.
Provide training and guidance to other staff members on best practice.
Ensure the warehouse team uphold health & safety

The Candidate

Extensive experience of Goods intake/despatch.
Experience working in a multi-disciplined engineering environment with knowledge of stock control
Knowledge of MRP, bar coded stock systems and kit picking.
Proven track record of expediting and order book management.
Responsible for quality inspection, quarantine and rejection/returns to supplier.
Self-starter and able to work on own initiative to succeed in this role.
Knowledge of Health & Safety processes.
