Working for a rapidly increasing division of one of the world`s leading automotive First Tier manufacturer, this role is for a contract Assembly Maintenance Technician to provide breakdown support to manufacturing areas, carry out improvements and preventative maintenance on equipment.
The Assembly Maintenance Technician will carry out fault finding activities and undertake the timely repair of equipment in the following areas; robotics, PLC`s, electrical control systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.
The successful Assembly Maintenance Technician will have experience with PLC`s, be time served apprentice trained, and have experience with pneumatics and hydraulics. Knowledge of Mig Welding and Spot Welding will be required, as will knowledge of Robotic welding (ideally ABB / Motorman or Fanuc). Past exposure to a fast paced automotive environment would be desirable.
