A Multinational Power Generation with a UK client base are looking to recruit a Service Engineer for the Midlands region. The role will consist of a varied mix of factory-based repairs as well as around 30% of the work being based on site. Someone ideally with a mechanical bias who is knowledgeable on generators and plant equipment would be well suited for this opportunity.

The Role

The Service Engineer will assist the Service and Sales team with Pre – Delivery Inspections (PDI) as well as carrying out maintenance tasks on diesel generators both in the factory and on site with customers. On site installation is a requirement so a full driving licence is essential.
This role will offer the variety of both factory and on-site environments, and a company vehicle is supplied for business use.


The Person

The ideal person will have an understanding of mechanical maintenance and fault finding. A good background with repair and service with a 70% bias towards mechanical knowledge would be ideal, however each application will be considered. A full driving licence is essential and a working knowledge of diesel generators is a must also.
