This global leader in large HGV commercial vehicles, with an established worldwide presence, now require a HGV Sales Manager to oversee the overall Sales activity primarily within the South East region. This will include the selling of new HGV vehicles and leading a team of 4 field sales staff. You will have a proven track record of Sales Management with direct HGV vehicle sales experience.
Principally, as HGV Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing, developing and ultimately increasing the sales of new HGV vehicles within the designated south east region. You will be leading a team of 4 Sales staff, working with them to improve performance and ensure a profitable business. Equally, as part of the Sales Management team, you will be responsible for both short and long term business plans in line with corporate objectives, whilst developing and promoting the company products to new and existing customers.
Preferably the HGV Sales Manager will have a demonstrable track record of selling new HGV vehicles, whilst also leading and mentoring a successful team of Sales individuals. You will possess excellent negotiation and influencing skills, combined with advanced heavy truck industry knowledge experience. The ability to build and manage key relationships, and effectively manage a team of people will be required; whilst being able to identify and exploit opportunities for business development.
