A Recruitment Lead is needed to join a new state of the art training centre. The Manufacturing Technology Centre is collaborating with the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) to train and develop apprentices in a brand new purpose built training academy in Oxfordshire.
Courses will be delivered by the MTC, replicating the industry-leading Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre on the MTC campus in Coventry. The AMTC has rapidly built a reputation for equipping apprentices not only with core engineering skills but also the latest advanced manufacturing techniques. The environment is both dynamic and engaging, supporting the next generation of highly skilled and agile Engineers.
Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking an Recruitment Lead. The purpose of the role is to support the AMTC Apprenticeship team in all aspects of apprenticeship recruitment, stem engagement with Schools and Education partners, whilst also supporting a fair and professional recruitment service
As the Recruitment Lead you will engage with organisations within the Oxfordshire area to source apprentices for the Engineering Technician Level 3 programme and to understand the needs of the organisations which will look to shape future engineering You will support Employer Partners with the recruitment of external apprentices You will support the apprentice placement leader with sales appointments, generation and award nominations and events You will lead on all school engagement STEM activities, attend career events which will help the promotion of school visits, AMTC tours and exhibition stands offsite You will support the wider AMTC training team with administrative duties, which could include production of presentations, letters, updating spreadsheets and completing apprentice framework document checks
As the ideal candidate for the Recruitment Lead you will ideally have experience in Apprentice Recruitment and to be able to provide accurate and comprehensive date and maintain complex records
Understanding of the Engineering sector is desirable
