A leading manufacturer and supplier to the aerospace, automotive and industrial markets is currently recruiting a Technical Sales Manager to join its UK operations. Candidates must be qualified engineers with strong technical understanding and have experience selling technical products to industrial markets.
Suitable for: Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Manager, Sales Director, Applications Engineer, Business Development Manager, BDM, Commercial Manager.
Reporting to the Sales Director, this position will include all aspects of technical sales and account management. You will be required to communicate directly with suppliers. Sales Co-ordinators, Engineering Team and Stake holders within purchasing, Production and quality. This is a fast-paced market so you will need to meet tight deadlines with some leading companies.
Business development of new and existing accounts Specify core products for niche applications, Develop new opportunities for product innovation Provide customer sales analysis, market feedback, bookings and forecast projections on a monthly basis Submit sales visit reports through the CRM system Industrial based exhibitions Work with customers to ensure excellent service in terms of technical needs, quality, price and delivery.
Engineering degree or equivalent (qualified engineer). Experience in selling technical solutions, preferably to the Industrial markets. Ability to provide growth in a competitive market place. Customer focused and problem-solving mentality. Able to travel and operate cross functionally across the business, Sales & Business development focused Strong negotiation skills. High level of self-motivation.
