A recognised manufacturer supplying the aerospace, medical and nuclear sectors is currently recruiting a Commercial Manager. You will be responsible for commercial strategy and deployment and have accountability for pricing, negotiation and contract reviews. Candidates must have technical background with good knowledge of metals and the aerospace industry.
Salary: £ 70,000 - £ 80,000 p.a. + car + private health insurance + pension

The successful candidate will manage all commercial activates for this leading engineering organisation. Your focus will be to improve market share by developing and implementing an innovate, growth focused commercial strategy.
Accountable for pricing, proposals and contract reviews Key point of contact for customers, managing key accounts Identify potential opportunities for the company`s products & services, & secure business through those opportunities. Strengthen business relationships with key customers. Resolve contractual and commercial issues. Identify, manage and win avenues for profitable revenue growth Develop strategic customer accounts and cultivate new business opportunities Ensure that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets Assessing the risks of any new commercial opportunities
Candidates must have an engineering degree or similar, relevant qualification, with strong negotiation skills and previous experience in a similar role, at least 3 years` experience in a lead commercial position. With excellent leadership skills you must be commercially astute and have a winning mentality with proven and demonstrable success in bid management.
A technical background is essential and experience in a metals environment.
