This global leader in both light and heavy commercial vehicles, with an established worldwide presence, now require a Commercial Logistics Planner to act as a local support arm between all UK internal departments as well as support to the dealer network. To be successful in the role you will have seasoned experience in ERP systems, be highly analytical and a proactive, self motivated approach to work.

As Commercial Logistics Planner you will deputise for the Logistics Process and Planning Manager, as well taking responsibility and ownership of the projects and tasks, and working with the Manager to further streamline all administration tasks and reports. Further responsibilities will include overseeing estimate forecasting and refreshing the associated PowerPoint slides, whilst managing Wholesale and the Demand Planning Administrator to achieve deadlines. The role will involve being highly analytical to monitor and identify macroeconomic trends to assist in the market / invoice forecasts and highlight any unusual trends to the Management team. You will also take responsibility for monitoring scheduling / production ensuring no penalties are ever collected for these.
The successful Commercial Logistics Planner will self motivated, with a proactive approach and the ability to use their own initiative in a disciplined and organised manner. You will have the presence and confidence to make decisions at a high level and support the Manager when required. Possessing excellent computer skills and experienced within ERP systems, you will ideally have advanced knowledge of MS Access and MS Office applications. You will ideally have an analytical background with a strong ability to interpret, manipulate and analyse numbers / data to a high level.
