A Key Account Manager is needed to join a new state of the art training centre. The Manufacturing Technology Centre is collaborating with the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) to train and develop apprentices in a brand new purpose built training academy in Oxfordshire.
Courses will be delivered by the MTC, replicating the industry-leading Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre on the MTC campus in Coventry. The AMTC has rapidly built a reputation for equipping apprentices not only with core engineering skills but also the latest advanced manufacturing techniques. The environment is both dynamic and engaging, supporting the next generation of highly skilled and agile Engineers.
Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Key Account Manager to drive the sales activity for the Apprentice and Commercial Training business ensuring delivery on key sales targets to support the achievement of the strategic plan.

As the Key Account Manager you will be working with major high value manufacturers and MTC members to understand their needs for training and Apprenticeships Developing & Deepening existing Key Account relationships in order to achieve Apprentice and Commercial Training objectives Originating and converting new Key Account opportunities to drive growth Articulating the output of Apprentices and linking with competency frameworks supplied or in development Liasing with key industry partners to drive collaboration
As the ideal candidate for the Key Account Manager you will:
Have the ability to successfully relationship manage Key Account in order to develop scalable and deliverable training programmes to suit their business needs Ability to challenge the status quo with existing apprentice suppliers and training providers A demonstrable ability to work to tight deadline in complex, multi-stakeholder environment Understand of occupational standards, trailblazer standards and units Understanding of educational levels, apprenticeships and apprentice levy
