Maintenance Engineer

A large manufacturing company are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer working on a continental shift pattern days & nights. You will be experienced in working within the manufacturing environment, with a strong electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge working on a variety machinery.


Commutable from Lincoln Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Horncastle, Brigg, Grimsby, Market Rasen, Worksop, Lincolnshire

Salary: Negotiable plus 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension & Overtime


The Role

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be reporting into the Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for providing engineering support to achieve the plant production targets and pre planned completion rate.
You will actively conduct pre planned maintenance on plant machinery. Updating the Engineering Manager on breakdown issues and reporting them onto the internal database.
Maintaining regular communication with engineering colleagues on maintenance issues.
Conducting electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding on failed parts and sourcing new parts through stores.


The Person

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be a time Served Apprenticeship or similar within Electrical or Mechanical engineering, in addition an electrical qualification.
Experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Strong background working to pre-planned and reactive maintenance. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to feedback progress on agreed plans via reports and verbally. Additional skills such as PLC, pneumatics, hydraulics systems.
