A successful well established food manufacturer are recruiting for a Senior National Account Manager from an ambient food background. You will have full P&L responsibility for delivering sales of savoury products.
Salary: £ 55,000 - £ 65,000 per annum, car allowance, sales bonus scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank, employer pension contribution, medical cashback scheme

The Senior National Account Manager will be responsible for: Achieve commercial potential through a combination of creative customer management with a high attention to detail also Manage 1 direct report, mentor them and develop them to deliver on their own targets also Educate colleagues on how to meet targets and also develop ownership of contact and customer strategy Forecast accuracy within 10% at customer level and group level Make P&L improvements with named customers Jointly responsible with marketing and finance for the creation and delivery of the category strategies Supporting and building the companies brands, licensed brands and retail brands Play a key role in the launch and support plan with new product development Write business plans and supplier agreements with named accounts Build strong working relations with the marketing manager and finance also
Ideally a University business related degree Proven success in sales Experience in FMCG account management across a range of sectors such as wholesale and food service Strong commercial acumen Detailed awareness of complex P&L structures Passionate about food and the food industry Lively and energetic attitude
