Due to continued expansion a leading manufacturer is currently recruiting a Production Controller to join the team. You will act as main point of contact for customers, updating them on delivery progress and progress chasing in the plant.

The Role

You will be the primary point of contact to customers about jobs in progress, which will require communication with all internal departments at every level to ensure that the customers delivery expectations are met. Working in this fast-paced department has a key role in the management and planning of the production process. Reporting to the Production Control Manager, you will also deal with the management of orders from point of order receipt through to despatch, expediting the orders through the business and giving feedback to others in the business as required.

The Candidate

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you can communicate well both via email and over the telephone. You should have a customer focus and also be highly competent using Microsoft based programs such as excel.

Experience in planning workloads in a similar environment and basic understanding of production processes in a quality focussed environment would be beneficial, however isn`t essential.
