A leading manufacturer to the automotive sector is currently recruiting for an EHS & Facilities Manager. With proven experience in both Facilities & health and safety, you will ideally have worked in manufacturing, engineering or similar sector.
Part of the senior management team you will manage the EHS & Facilities ensuring best practise and help to deliver on a zero-harm culture mindset of all employees. You will lead all aspects relating to safety, health, wellbeing & Environmental management of the facility and drive improvements in operations for the benefit of the team and its customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
Ensure plant safety and that employees are trained and conducting their duties in a safe manner and escalating where requirements are not met. Operational safety, ensuring all work undertake does not compromise individual`s safety. Lead the energy reduction team in plant performance improvements To ensure environmental impact is minimized and reduced with regard to plant processes and infrastructure (waste management) Lead & Guide Continuous improvement for EHS & Facilities. Support IATF 16494 Development and implementation of EHS site improvement plans. Coordinate and assist line managers in the development and reviewing of site risk assessments and site safety systems. Ensure Compliance of all Environmental regulations.
The ideal person will need to hold a NEBOSH NGC, Tech IOSH and sound knowledge of EHS principles & legislations.
