A leading UK Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing Technical Centre are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to operate and respond to breakdowns as part of an operations team covering the Module & Pack assembly process stream.
Suitable for: Manufacturing Technician, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer.
The Manufacturing Technician Role:
Operate and be the first to respond to breakdowns as part of a team covering one of a number of designated process streams Module & Pack Assembly. Ensure all equipment is set up, adjusted and in constant readiness for production. Fault finding and diagnosing of issues across a variety of control systems. Lead and support problem solving, continuous improvement and planned maintenance to production equipment. Undertake inline and offline product validation testing. Some overseas travel may be required to support FA&T and commissioning activities.
The Successful Manufacturing Technician will be:
Qualified to an ONC / HNC / HND level having served an apprenticeship in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering. Experience of diagnostic maintenance, troubleshooting, problem solving and repair within a high-speed or precision manufacturing environment. Experience within the Battery, Print, Pharmaceutical, Automotive or other high speed production environment. Ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic engineering drawings. Robot, automation and High Voltage experience is desirable Previous commissioning experience is ideal.
