A manufacturing company are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer on Monday to Friday days role. Working within the maintenance department you will be responsible for conducting maintenance on production and facilities repairs.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will; Provide hands-on technical support and assistance on electrical and mechanical faults with a range of plant equipment and production machinery, including installation, commissioning, fault finding and de-commissioning. Working on a range of machinery CNC machines, feeding systems such as conveyors with mechanical repairs and electrical fault-finding. Problem solving and providing fast resolutions to equipment and plant equipment malfunctions, fault-finding and repairing with a practical, efficient approach, carrying out refurbishments as required. Support the integration of new plant and equipment into production. Train operators in the safe operation of equipment safely and efficiently to ensure full utilisation levels and minimise waste. Develop and maintain plant process and efficiency through continuous improvement activities and the 5S approach. Keep spares stock organised. Permanent days shift (8-6) Monday to Friday.
A Maintenance Engineer with; A time served apprenticeship or relevant Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in fault-finding on automated production machinery such as PLC`s and/or robots desirable but not required.
