A worldwide car parts distribution company is looking for an Engine Builder - Remanufacturing. The company has customers in automotive, PSV, rail, off-highway and defence industries as well as speciality manufacturing, with a strong emphasis on remanufacturing and refurbishment to OE specification.
Commutable from: Coventry, Stratford upon Avon, Rugby, Leamington, Warwick.
Salary: £18,000 - £ 25,000 p.a.
The Role The Engine Builder - Remanufacturing will:
Assess overall condition of product. Strip unit and assess individual components to ensure they are fit for purpose. Evaluate the commercial viability and availability of parts prior to the commencement of any work. Build product in accordance with manufacturer instructions/AESP/Carwood work instruction. Test product to OE specification. Ensure that all company procedures are adhered to these include health and safety, quality and standard operating procedures.
The Candidate The Engine Builder - Remanufacturing will hold:
Proven experience of repair & maintenance on Military vehicles or similar equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel) or willing to work towards. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task, and work under pressure. Displays willingness to follow instruction and learn new tasks. Knowledge of QHSE Legislation Hold a valid driving licence. Displays a good attitude towards work, and the aims and objectives of the company.
