Lead Engineer - HVAC & Cooling

An innovative and pioneering EV tech company are seeking a HVAC and Cooling Lead Engineer. In this position you will be involved at all stages of the design and development of a new global EV/ City Car. You will be responsible in providing technical support to a Full Vehicle project, to enable the delivery of HVAC systems to meet the requirements of the business.


Commutable from: Warwick, Coventry, Leamington Spa, Solihull, Redditch

Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 50,000 p.a. Exceptional Pension, holidays and incidental benefits


The Role

The purpose of the Lead Engineer (HVAC & Cooling) is to lead a team of design engineers on the chassis systems design and release activities. This will include;

Responsibility for design specifications
Creation of CAD models, component drawings and assembly drawings.
Lead design reviews and provide reports on progress and problems.
Support other Chassis design engineers in management activities.


The Candidate

• Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience.
• At least five years automotive experience
• Extensive CAD experience using CATIA V5
• Experience in chassis design and project delivery.
