A Tier one Automotive supplier are looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead the HR department. You`ll be responsible for management of all HR functions and processes across two manufacturing facilities. You will come from a fast paced manufacturing background with a hands on approach with extensive knowledge of shop floor management.
Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 50,000 p.a. + Mileage Allowance, Pension and 33 days holidays including bank holidays.
Reporting into the Operations Director the job role of Human Resources Manager is to manage all HR functions and processes across two manufacturing sites. Support the senior team, influencing, negotiating and building key working relationships. Manage all recruitment and retention of all staff across businesses. Training and development of all employees within the business. Maintaining historical and current personnel records, ensuring effective documentation of all employee changes.
CIPD and ideally degree-qualified, the successful candidate will possess a proven record in a manufacturing/fast paced operation be conversant with operating in non-unionised environments. Excellent communication skills are required for the role in addition to influencing skills and a keen passion for completing projects. Applicants are expected to possess a generalist HR skill base and strong evidence of successful employee engagement campaigns in previous roles. Experience of policy, processes and procedure review and development. Offering HR advice and support to employees and line managers.
