Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a PMO Team Leader. The purpose of the role is to develop the team within Project Management Office.

The PMO Team Leader will be responsible for: Setting and managing team priorities aligned with business objectives. Maintain PMO KPI`s Provide support/ mentoring to junior team members to aid their career development, including apprentices. Deputise for Project Lead/ Manager in their absence. Work with continuous improvement team to ensure the improvements identified are delivered. Develop the PMO team to identify improvements to the processes and working practices in the department. Ensure PMO competency assessments are in place for the PMO team and any identified gaps have clear plans to be addressed accordingly.
The suitable candidate for the PMO Team Leader will possess the following attributes: Ideally educated to degree level. Demonstrate knowledge and experience working in PMO`s and leading/ managing a team. Recognised qualification in Project Management, ideally APM. Results orientated with a positive attitude to seek solutions. Strong analytical skills to conduct reports and highlight anomalies. Demonstrate experience in mentoring others and developing colleagues. Well organised and can work to tight deadlines. Flexible approach to support the team where required.
