Leading automotive components and systems manufacturer is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and coordinate the sales and commercial process within a thriving operation based in South Wales. The role is permanent offering excellent progression.
The Sales Manager will take responsibility for sales activity and handling of commercial data including forecasting, quotation and commercial analysis. The Sales Manager will undertake travel to and regular interaction with customer sites including OEM and first tier customers in the sector. The Sales Manager will support both existing customer relationships and new launch activities working closely with the engineering team.
You will degree qualified or equivalent and possess proven experience within the automotive sector facing customers and managing relationships effectively. You will be highly numerate and conversant with handling and producing technical and quotation data. The Sales Manager will be expected to undertake a level of travel including some international travel which is fully expensed by the business. Supervisory skills including mentoring for graduates are highly sought after for the position of Sales Manager.
