Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking an Advanced Research Engineer Data Science. The purpose of the role is to develop and run projects in the Data & Information Systems research area.

The key responsibilities and duties of the Advanced Research Engineer within Data & Information Systems will include:
support the Digital Engineering theme in particular the Data and Information Systems team with creative problem solving, solution concepts, system design and integration contribute to projects related to Artificial Intelligence, data systems, data mining and decision support systems develop proposals for individual research projects to meet clients` needs in full Customer and partner liaison in large collaborative projects to ensure requirements capture, project delivery, overall project direction;
The successful candidate for the Advanced Research Engineer within Data & Information Systems will be experienced and qualified in the following: Minimum of degree qualified with computer science bias plus minimum of 3 years industry experience Proficiency with a deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or Keras Experience in the use of advanced statistical analysis and machine learning methods Strong theoretical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas Strong experience in statistical software packages and visualisation toolkit (e.g. R, Python, Tableau, KNIME etc.)
