Working for a rapidly increasing division of one of the world`s leading Automotive Tier One companies; they now currently seek a Weld Engineer to control systems and procedures of all MIG, MAG and TIG welding processes. The successful candidate will ideally have a recognised welding certificate and past exposure to robotic applications.
Commutable from: Swansea, Llanelli, Neath, Port Talbot, Carmarthen
Salary: £ 33,000 - £ 35,000 p.a. up to 8% pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday
The Weld Engineer will ideally have knowledge of MIG, MAG and TIG welding processes (both theory and application), along with understanding of robotic application within a welding process. You will provide technical assistance to all associated departments with welding matters, along with integration and implementation of new processes, and drive improvement activities on existing processes.
The successful Weld Engineer will ideally have a recognised Welding certificate, or be time served within an automated welding environment. Applications from individuals with a recognised electrical or maintenance apprenticeship, or time served with city and guilds and 17th edition regulations, coupled with relevant welding exposure would also be welcomed and considered.
