FMCG manufacturer operating in the food products sector is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the current team. Working on a continental shift pattern you will work day and night shifts to ensure production requirements are met and machines operate safely and efficiently.
The Maintenance Engineer will support reactive breakdown repairs and assist with the business` planned preventative maintenance schedule including machine overhauls and regular servicing. The Maintenance Engineer will support food preparation equipment, packaging equipment and conveyor systems in relation to general plant maintenance including the facility itself. The Maintenance Engineer will work continental shifts which includes 12 hours, day and night rotating shifts as a functional requirement of the role.
The Maintenance Engineer will possess ideally a recognised engineering qualification and maintenance related apprenticeship. Previous manufacturing experience is essential, ideally in a fast-paced, high volume operation. Working within a safety and hygiene critical environment, the Maintenance Engineer will be required to demonstrate the highest standards of attention to detail and working safely.
