Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Technical Specialist in Data Systems Architecture to join their Data & Information Systems team. This comes as the Data and Information Systems team are seeing an increasing requirement for more ICT Systems Architecture skilled individuals for the growing project range. The purpose of the role is to develop and run projects in the Data & Information Systems research area and to act as a technical consultant for wider projects across the MTC portfolio.

The Technical Specialist in Data Systems Architecture will be responsible for leading and delivering projects within Data and Information Systems remit. The role encompasses:
Undertaking innovative and collaborative research activity within data systems and manufacturing capability readiness levels. To develop proposals for individual research projects to meet clients` needs in full Support the development and deployment of data projects. Ensure the industrial requirements are translated to the team of technical specialists. Develop and produce research proposals Lead client engagement and support winning new business in this area.
The successful candidate for the Technical Specialist in Data Systems Architecture role will have a demonstrable commercial awareness within the manufacturing as well as the following attributes and experience: Minimum five years` industrial experience of enterprise system deployments and operational technologies (OT) elements within manufacturing (i.e. MES, MRP, ERP, SCADA) Strong knowledge of the technology stack, multiple operating systems, hypervisors and distributed systems architecture Strong knowledge and understanding of server virtualization technologies such as VMware, Azure and Hyper-V, KVM Openstack Demonstrable software development skills using Java, C#, C++, Python, Rust and SQL Ability to translate complex industrial requirements to a technical delivery team Understanding of Pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors is highly desirable.
