Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking an Associate Director Industrial Growth. The purpose of the role is to is achieve financial targets (P&L), project delivery, sales & service levels and drive the account planning for the sector`s strategic accounts.

The Associate Director Industrial Growth will develop and implement a clear strategy for the sector to achieve the desired financial targets, project delivery milestones, sales and service targets and maintain and increase the order intake.
The role encompasses: Development and implementation of a clear strategy for the sector Planning the resource profile to enable Operations to support the sector and maintaining customer satisfaction (as measured by the net promoter score) Establishing and setting plans, budgets, and KPI`s whilst reviewing progress against project deliverables with support from Programme Management/PMO teams. Reporting on monthly P&L performance, highlighting trends and potential challenges to forecasts. Designing, building and sustaining key relationships across the sector. Supporting the team in understanding and positioning compelling value propositions to the customer base.
The successful candidate for the Associate Director Industrial Growth role will possess the following attributes: Degree qualified within a relevant manufacturing or engineering field. Previous experience within manufacturing innovation and high technology in addition to leading people with strategic direction and influence. Familiar with Government funding streams such as Innovate UK. A Senior Manager with broad experience in business development, operational and programme management and leading an established competent team. Experienced in leading large scale or complex programmes, profit and loss responsibility in a £ multi-million business, knowledge of the sector, including current and predicted manufacturing challenges and prior experience of leading multi-functional teams. You will be a high-level stakeholder in management, a strong technical communicator, possess excellent project management, strategic planning and risk management skill base. You will be able to manage various key people (stakeholders) around the business and be a natural leader, capable of fitting into a challenging environment with an established team, identifying and resolving issues using a strongly analytical approach. You will possess and demonstrate excellent decision-making capability and be able to manage multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize effectively, whilst being a motivator and energiser of the team.
