A state of the art automotive supplier with strong growth is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to ensure all machinery is kept functional and operational. The Technician will be multi-skilled, conversant with robots and PLC`s and able to work rotating shifts.
As Senior Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for providing a rapid response to breakdowns and repairs to ensure all machinery is kept fully functional and in a safe condition. You will work on both a preventative and curative basis, working closely with Production teams and following quality, productivity and HSE standards. You will work on either a rotating three shift or continental shift basis for which an additional increment is paid in addition to the basic salary.
Preferably with a multi-skilled background and a recognised qualification, you will be confident in working on PLC systems and robots (ideally ABB and Fanuc). The position will involve working on a continental shift pattern, so flexibility will be required. Past exposure to MIG welding, equipment strip downs and general pneumatics and hydraulics would be advantageous for the successful Senior Maintenance Technician.
