The Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre is focused on developing, maintaining and building upon the vital skills required by manufacturing graduates, technicians, engineers and managers to deliver the technologies that keep the Great British manufacturing industry globally competitive. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking an experienced Engineering Apprentice Trainer. The purpose of the role is to train cohorts of apprentices with the fundamentals of our Foundation Competency Level 2 or Development Knowledge Level 3 units. These can range from Health and Safety, Working Efficiency, BIT, Fluid Power, Milling and Turning, Mechanical and Electrical Assembly, CAD, PLC`s, Measurement and Inspection to name a few.

The Engineering Apprentice Trainer role will focus on the following key responsibilities: Delivery of high-quality and engaging training for a number of units to Apprentices through the standard (L3 Product Design and Development) Content creation and development of apprenticeship schemes-of-work. Identifying and coordinating the integration of relevant existing training offers from industry partners into the apprenticeship scheme of work Liaising with MTC personnel, including but not limited to Engineering Technicians and Research Engineers to ensure the Apprenticeship programme continues to meets the MTC`s vision whilst ensuring synergies are realised Monitoring of learning environment, learner workplace Health, Safety and welfare Ensuring the progress of the whole caseload of Learners towards all components is synonymous with timely achievement by carrying out regular reviews.
The successful candidate for the Engineering Apprentice Trainer will possess the following attributes and experience:
Ideally experienced with the delivery of high-quality learning and the engagement of learners. Current Technical competence within units detailed in the job purpose. IT literate including LMS and generic Microsoft Office packages including Word, PowerPoint and MS Outlook A good standard of written and verbal communication Focused on delivering objectives and targets Industry related qualifications such as HND, or NVQ`s Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSE`s in Maths and English grade C or above CAVA or equivalent assessor qualifications - desirable Recognised Training/Teaching Qualification - desirable Internal Quality Assurance qualifications desirable
