A manufacturer of precision components has a new vacancy for a Maintenance Engineer. Working on a week day double day shift pattern you will be responsible for maintaining machining in a busy engineering environment and the successful candidate will be able to fault find and repair on a range of complex equipment including CNC machinery.
Working on a double day shift you will be tasked with carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities across the plant, working in conjunction with other maintenance members to ensure constant running of all plant equipment and facility effectiveness.
Key responsibilities: Maintain, repair and improve machines across the business including CNC machinery Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Pneumatic and Hydraulic fault finding and repairs Assist Facility repairs as and when required Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs. Maintaining a register/log of all plant and equipment maintenance activities. Support machine relocation (Disconnection and re-commissioning) Work with the maintenance manager to identify areas for improvement
Level 3 qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline. Experience directly involved with Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance and CNC activities within engineering improvement projects. Demonstrated ability to use root cause analysis/problem solving process Demonstrated track record in driving continuous improvement. High level of self-motivation, creativity and flexibility. Flt and Mobile platform license would be advantageous
