A leading FMCG company are seeking a Materials Scheduler to be responsible for ensuring raw materials in line with system driven demand to meet required delivery dates and production plans. You will have a strong supply chain background within a FMCG/Food manufacturing environment. You will have knowledge of using a range of SAP ERP and MRP Systems.
Salary: £ 25,000 to £ 28,000 p.a. plus Healthcare, Life Assurance, Pension, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
Reporting into the Material Supply Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the planning process is set for short term and long terms strategies. Communicate to Line Manager and Production Planners any material control issues to minimise plan changes, while ensuring remedial action is taken to correct shortfalls against plan. As the Materials Scheduler you will provide transition data in the form of the stock raw materials on hand and at the supply base when products are coming to an end of life or are in a phase of change. Attend daily production meetings to develop best practice and continuously improve ways of working, including development of MRP and reporting tools. Managing internal MRP systems for stock levels, conducting audits and when requested reports for the Supply Chain Manager. Maintaining regular communication with Production, Technical Stores and Supply Chain to minimise low stock and stock issues.
The ideal Materials Scheduler will have experience working within a planning role within a FMCG/Food manufacturing environment. Confident with using MRP and SAP systems, with strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate to all levels. Experience working within a similar role or a supply chain environment. Ability to prioritise workloads and confident in problem solving. Excellent attention to detail and multi tasking skills. Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
