With a zero-waste culture and a combination of traditional natural manufacturing methods, combined with cutting edge research, this company now seek an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to fulfil scheduled and preventative maintenance duties across control plans, PLC`s and SCADA systems. Electrically qualified (level 3) you will be ideally 18th edition qualified with experience of PLC`s, control plans and automation from within an industrial environment.
Salary: £ 30,000 p.a. plus overtime, permanent days of 6.00-2.30pm plus benefits. Once proficient in the role you will be expected to become a member of the on call` team.
As Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for providing a rapid response to breakdowns and repairs to ensure all machinery is kept fully functional and in a safe condition. You will work on both a preventative and curative basis on electrical systems including control plans, PLC`s and SCADA systems. The maintenance of both hydraulic and pneumatic systems will also be required, as well as driving a culture of continuous improvement within the small team.
Preferably with a multi-skilled background (ideally with a focus on electrical systems) and a recognised qualification of level 3 Electrical, you will be confident in working on PLC and SCADA systems with an associated 18th edition certification. Experience of working within an industrial environment is required, with IPAF and IOSH qualifications being advantageous.
