A global food and drink manufacturer have an immediate requirement for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias. This is a permanent opportunity working on Panama shift pattern (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 3 off) days and nights. Salary: £ 40,000 - £46,000 p.a. plus 20 days holiday, private healthcare, income protection, death in service, pension scheme
The Electrically bias Maintenance Engineer will: Performing preventative inspection tours, assess the state of maintenance using a checklist and reporting findings Execution of scheduled maintenance works maintaining plant equipment and executing mechanical maintenance on pneumatic and hydraulic parts` Execute maintenance work on electric control technology Rectify both mechanical and electrical failures in production equipment and request the necessary tools and parts in technical warehouse Set up inquiry where needed and retrieve information from suppliers, carry out on-site modification works at scheduled times Input information about different shift team handover via SAP input
The successful applicant for the will be a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias who has strong knowledge of electromechanical engineering. This candidate should be a time served and qualified maintenance engineer who if electrically bias, should be 18th edition qualified. While also holding a City & Guilds or NVQ3 in an engineering or maintenance discipline also, while food or drink manufacturing exposure would be beneficial.
