A leading FMCG manufacturer are looking for a Interim Production Manager working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. Twelve hour shifts, You will be experienced working within a FMCG/Food manufacturing industry with a proven background of managing teams and driving KPI`s, with excellent people management skills, with the ability to implement and looking at continuous improvement practices.
As a Interim Production Manager you will report into the General Manager. You will be responsible for maximising the production plan for each shift, driving KPI`s, ensuring the team is functioning to maximum capacity. Ensure effective communication throughout the team to ensure all raw materials meet food hygiene standards. Maintain regular communication with fellow departments to ensure effective communication throughout the company. Planning of the production line for the day and week. Arrangement of raw materials, allocation of correct staffing for the week. Driving HACCP and Food Hygiene standards throughout the team, along with maintain personal hygiene of team members. Identifying of any training requirement of team members. Support and control continuous improvement projects using a structured plan to measure delivery and effectiveness.
Proven background working as a Interim Production Manager within FMCG or Food manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of HACCP and Food hygiene. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams along with time management skills. Previous experience of managing people and driving change. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
