Join one of the world`s leading automotive tier one components manufacturing at their flagship West Midlands plant! The Paint Process Technician will maintain the paint production process and ensure maximum machine and process availability for production operations.
Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 45,000 p.a. (inclusive of shift allowance) plus benefits package
The Paint Process Technician is a permanent role on a three-shift rotation, working on Monday to Friday supporting painted part production activity including line maintenance, OEE monitoring and improvement initiatives, ensuring painted components are made to exacting standards of quality and safe and effective working throughout the team. The Paint Process Technician will support root cause analysis on production issues and work in close partnership with maintenance, quality and production teams to ensure effective outcomes.
The succesfull candidate for this Paint Process Technician position will ideally have 2-3 years` experience in painted parts production (ideally but not essential) as well as having past exposure to robot systems (any system but Fanuc, Kuka, ABB would be preferred). Experience of working within a high volume, fast paced manufacturing environment (Automotive or FMCG would be preferred). Past exposure to maintenance engineering and automated systems programming would be preferred alongside excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain and apply rigorous standards of quality, health and safety and a quality-driven, right-first-time ethos for production.
