Internationally recognised multi-sector engineering and logistics brand name is seeking a Head of Talent & Development to support the business in talent development objectives. You will lead talent strategy and key talent processes to meet the business` strategic needs aligned with growth.
Incredible opportunity for an experienced Talent & Development/HR specialist to join a global business with multi-site, multi-sector operations to deliver and embed leadership training, deliver an organisation capability strategy, introduce and support new career development pathways within the organisation and support the HR Director on positive organisational and cultural change programmes across the sites.
You will be responsible for graduate, apprentice and development of early-hire talent and partner with the respective HR Business Partners to ensure the L&D and capability needs are met in addition to identifying and addressing skills gaps.
The role will require key stakeholder relationships with manufacturing team, HR Business Partners, The Group Capability Team and a number of external partners such as academic, advisory and governmental frameworks.
The successful applicant for the role of Head of Talent & Development, will possess a relevant degree level qualification, be CIPD accredited, be professionally qualified within coaching and mentoring and qualified in profiling instruments such as MBTI and Insight Discovery.
You will possess proven HR and talent development experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably a group or multi-site type of operation and be able to identify needs and develop the best training solutions for a rapidly growing business.
The Head of Talent & Development will be highly conversant with L&D delivery at strategy level and be able to demonstrate successful stakeholder relationships across senior levels in engineering/manufacturing businesses.
