The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story - created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner.
The purpose of the role is to be the main point of contact for managers and staff across the MTC group of companies on all matters relating to employment policies and procedures.

The Human Resources Business Partner will support the MTC`s organisational objective of creating a highly engaging culture of creativity, inspiration and continuous improvement, based on mutual respect and understanding for colleagues and stakeholders. This role will partner and support the Senior Managers with an objective of creating a highly engaging culture of creativity, inspiration and continuous improvement, based on mutual respect and understanding for colleagues and stakeholders.
The role encompasses:
Partnering senior managers in identifying high potential individuals, developing and providing suitable opportunities for progression. Providing advice on employment law issues. Supporting the management team with the implementation of employee engagement initiatives to raise operational performances levels Working collaboratively with management to identify training and development needs and create and deliver commercially astute solutions. Supporting succession planning within The MTC business operations. Undertake specific projects including supporting project planning and providing expert HR advice to stakeholders on the business impact of decisions.
The successful candidate for the Human Resources Business Partner role will possess the following attributes:
You will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) and possess a professional HR qualification such as CIPD or similar. The HRBP will be able to demonstrate commercially awareness in their previous experience and display a best-for-business` approach to the role. You will be well versed within HR ERP systems and conversant with current UK employment law being able to demonstrate practical experience of this knowledge in a working context. The HRBP will able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including senior management and executive team and able to influence and present concise and clear information and data in support of delivering the role. The HRBP will be able to engage team members and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing organisation where agile thinking and effective collaboration are central to the effective delivery of the organisational goals.
