Leading manufacturer and supplier of world-class vehicles in the truck and distribution vehicle sector is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager with experience in the sales and account management of rigid trucks sold to the distribution and delivery networks in the UK.

Salary: £ 47,000 - £ 53,000 p.a. + Company Car + Pension + Significant Bonus

The Role:
The Account Manager will promote and develop strong working relationships with medium to large fleet customers, targeting and developing business for vehicles sold to the construction and distribution markets. You will support the customer interaction including demonstrating excellent technical understanding to support the various adaptations made to the rigid trucks to support specific customer requirements such as tippers, flatbed, drop-side and skip carrying vehicles.
You will analyse and interpret market signals, local market analysis, competitors offers and benchmarking and develop business plans, to ensure maximization of business opportunities.
The Key Account Manager will also develop new National Fleet Accounts, according to Company objectives and sales potential, including proposing complex offers (including buy back, repair & maintenance contracts and financial services), instructing and following up the internal approval process. Additionally, the Key Account Manager will prepare and collect documents and information for participating to tenders and liaise with all departments to ensure positive relationships.

The Person:
Possessing an excellent customer manner and strong experience within the sales and account management for contracts on commercial vehicles, the Key Account Manager will possess the following attributes: a wide knowledge of all aspects of Commercial Vehicles, their uses, specifications and the support services of Repair & Maintenance and Finance options.

The Key Account Manager will demonstrate the ability to manage and deliver the Company`s objectives with full accountability on the results and the ability to target Customers with an “added value” approach, leveraging on product range, services and bespoke commercial offers.

The role will require UK-wide travel including some overnight stays when applicable, the business offer travel and accommodation assistance for this and any requirement to attend head office.
