Due to the opening of a new UK site a leading maintenance and manufacturing company working in the lift and elevator sectors has a new vacancy for a Sales Manager. Candidates are sought with a good understanding of the sector with a proven track record of identifying, targeting and winning new business as well building long term relationships with established customers.
Salary: £ 42,000 - £ 45,000 p.a. + up to 30% bonus + 5% pension

You will be responsible for the development of sales to both new and existing customers promoting the company`s range of products and services. Possessing proven account management skills you will create commercial proposals and establish market pricing strategy to be competitive within each market.
Identify new clients and account manage key customer, maintaining a constructive working relationship Negotiate and secure orders Manage day to day activities within the Sales Office Develop sales plans and strategies to effectively grow the business Negotiate with customers at all levels to win business and improve margins Lead the creation of detailed estimates, sales quotations, pre-qualification documents and bid summaries Understanding of the marketplace and demands and competitors.
With proven sales skills you will possess drive and energy to increase revenue for a market leader in their field and candidates are sought who are ideally qualified in an engineering discipline with a good understanding of the lift & elevator sector.
An effective communicator you will be commercially astute and be able to write commercial proposals to satisfy customer requirements. A self-starter with a can-do attitude, you must be willing to travel when the need arises.
