Leading manufacturer and retailer of commercial vehicles is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to work in their Heathrow Depot on a rotating shifts basis supporting and providing world-class customer experience and service to all sector customers and their vehicles. This is a permanent role.

Salary: £ 25,000 - £ 29,000 p.a. + Paid Overtime + Pension
The Service Advisor will be responsible for the smooth daily operation of the Service Reception working within a strong team environment and delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers by way of exceptional communication. You will work shifts including 0600-1500 Monday to Friday rotating with 0900-1800 hrs with a required to work one Saturday in every three from 0800-1200. The Saturday hours are paid as additional overtime.
The Service Advisor will ensure a steady and realistic flow of available work through the workshop and liaise with external and internal customers and ensure work is authorised. You will support and maintain customer‘s service schedules, MOT and O Licence requirements.
The Service Advisor will provide a level of technical advice where applicable to customers and audit job cards (work orders) and associated service documentation for accuracy and adherence to internal and external procedures. Additionally, you will ensure Service / Inspection Documentation requirements are correctly completed and customer defect procedures adhered to.
The Service Advisor will demonstrate excellent organisational skills and excellent customer service skills being able to demonstrate calmness under pressure. The Service Advisor will possess technical awareness of motor vehicles, analytical and administrative skills and be able to work as a team player within a busy servicing department.
A technical understanding of vehicles ideally Light Commercials or Heavy Good Vehicles is hugely beneficial for the role alongside knowledge of the Automotive Industry from a general vehicle serving perspective. Any exposure to Dealer Management Systems such as CDK DMS is highly welcomed. The role is based onsite Heathrow and please kindly note the required shift patterns when considering your application to the position.
