A globally renowned manufacturer to the Aerospace & Defence sectors has a new vacancy for a Commercial Manager to join the business on a 12 month FTC. With a good understanding of the aerospace & defence sectors you will be responsible for the commercial management of complex contracts while ensuing compliance and best practise.
Working for a global manufacturer you will be responsible for negotiating, drafting and the commercial management of complex contracts. Taking a lead in the commercial department you will ensure the business complies with standards and advise on contractual arrangements with suppliers, customers and distributors.
Drafting and reviewing contracts and NDAs. Contract negotiation Advise on all contractual arrangements with suppliers, customers and agents. Maintaining awareness of company law and upcoming changes. Support the Bid Team to develop Commercial input Be responsible for the negotiation of major subcontracts Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory requirements and taking appropriate action. Controlling the protection of the intellectual property of the company through contract clauses, confidentiality agreements, patent and trademark registrations. Understand requirement of US Export Regulations (ITAR and EAR)
The successful candidate must have a proven background in contact management with a good understanding of aerospace & defence standards. With excellent negotiation skills you will have a meticulous attention to detail gained within a commercial work environment. With excellent numerical attributes you will be able to analyse data and communicate the report findings accordingly.
