The High Temperature Research Centre (HTRC) is a collaboration between the University of Birmingham and Rolls-Royce. The facility will enable a halving of the lead-time for the design & make of turbine components; develop novel techniques to enable future design styles and manufacturing systems and accelerate cost reduction & casting yield improvement activities. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Auto-cell Injection Technician.
The purpose of the role is to ensure delivery of all project work to quality, time and cost requirements on Injection, Core Finishing and CMM Measurement.
As the Auto-Cell injection you will process components through the operations in accordance to technical instructions. You will ensure that confidentiality requirements associated with particular areas of research/projects are maintained. You will have the ability to work to quality, timing and cost project deliverables.
The ideal person for the Auto-Cell Injection role is someone who is highly dexterous and self-motivated with the experience of fettling/finishing of ceramics and fine manual tasks. Experience working in an R&D or technical environment would be desirable.
