A leading manufacturing and engineering business is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join the HR team in South Yorkshire working as a generalist to deliver expert guidance and facilitate high level operational performance. This is permanent role offering excellent development.

Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 46,500 p.a. + £ 5000 p.a. Car Allowance + Pension



The Role


The Senior HR Business Partner will partner with business leaders and manager to provide exert HR guidance across the whole HR sphere and will support both operational and strategic HR matters for the business. You will support talent and performance management including coaching.


The Senior HR Business Partner will proactively support employee engagement projects and review engagement related data to develop insights for the senior leadership team.


You will ensure HR policies and procedures are adhered to and demonstrate a high level of support for initiatives on health, safety, and employee wellbeing.


You will support and lead recruitment campaigns for the business to attract and engage exceptional talent, including developing key relationships with recruitment partners to support and facilitate growth.



The Person


The successful applicant will be an experienced HR professional with ideally a background in manufacturing, engineering or related supply chain. You will be conversant with delivering initiatives and adding value from employee engagement projects.


The Senior HR Business Partner will demonstrate excellent employee relationship skills and possess positive experience in engaging with trade union organisations to create mutually beneficial and fair outcomes.


The Senior HR Business Partner will be ideally be degree (or equivalent) level qualified and CIPD at minimum of level 5 with keen interest to progress beyond through their personal development. The business has an excellent track record for high quality professional development.


The Senior HR Business Partner will possess excellent communication skills, be able to engage and influence senior leaders and be data-savvy to provide insights and analysis on trends and themes for the business.


The role will be delivered along a hybrid working pattern including some days on site and some working from home if preferred.
