Leading research, development, auditing and industry standards focused organisation is seeking a Certification and Production Auditor within the Risk Management. This is a permanent role and is based both onsite and at client sites when required. The key focus is fire safety and related auditing.

The Certification and Production Auditor will conduct detailed technical evaluations including auditing, report writing and recommendations. You will liaise closely with both internal departments, customers, approval agencies and accreditation bodies.
The Certification and Production Auditor will prepare, review and close audit reports and support clients to gain compliance with the appropriate regulations and standards. You will demonstrate good working knowledge of auditing for safety and compliances particularly within a quality, health, safety and environment field, focusing specifically on fire safety.
The successful candidate will possess a proven background in auditing and compliance including visual inspections, analysis of data, compilation of reports, testing of products and advisory support for customers.
The role requires understanding of the certification/approvals process for product and process safety and you will ideally have experience within fire safety product testing and/or certification. Experience working in a UKAS accredited environment is highly advantageous for the role in addition to the flexibility to work on site and visit customer sites for audits.
You will possess a higher-level technical qualification, degree or equivalent and be able to manage data set including good skill level on Excel and clear and concise report writing.
